Key Steps To Opening Your Evolve Salon.
Step 1. You need to be a highly motivated individual who doesn’t quit at the first hurdle. Things won’t always go to plan and obstacles will come along that require tenacity to overcome. If you give up easily or don’t see things through then question yourself ‘Is a franchise the right thing for me?’ If you’re a winner and believe in your own endeavour and ability to work through difficulties then read on.
Step 2. Obviously you need to have the necessary investment, this goes without saying. If you have it, great, if not we can assist you in building your business plan for your bank to loan you the money. Either way you will need a business plan to steer you in the right direction.
Typically the franchise fee is Php 1,500,000 and includes all of the salons supplies and equipment. There is also an annual franchise fee of Php 100,000 which is on-going. This fee doesn’t include the shop fit.
Step 3. A familiar saying in the UK when selecting property is you need to consider three things; ‘Location, Location and Location’. We cannot stress how important it is to get the right property. We recommend a minimum of 55m2 for your shop unit and ideally 80m2, this will ensure that you have room to grow. The last thing you want to be doing in your first few years is move your salon. Evolve is a Premier Brand and we insist all of our franchises are on the main shopping streets or in premier malls with heavy footfall.
Step 4. Once you’ve invested in the Evolve brand and own a franchise then you will want to get yours up and running as quickly as possible. Time is money as they say. Evolve’s dedicated expertise will manage all aspects of the shop ‘fit out’ helping you to get it right first time. Our experience ensures that you maximise your sales per client ratio.
Step 5. While your shop unit is being built you will want to recruit the very best local talent to work for you. Normally entrepreneurs like yourself will have an industry background and may have one or two key people already identified. If need be we can assist you in the recruitment of any additional staff but the final say will be yours. It will be you who will be managing them every day after all.
Step 6. You’re buying into a Evolve, a Premier Brand that will ensure that you’re at the very top of the salon brands. We insist that you use the products that we supply (this is contractual) and we will provide a full training package for you and your staff. The training will be conducted by David himself and will ensure that from the moment your doors open to the public you are able to reproduce brilliance time and time again.
Step 7. Once your doors are open we are still there to support you. Any technical questions that you may have or just general business ones, you can rest assured that our in-house experts are available to help you.
Step 8. Hard work and reward. Like anything in life the best results come with effort. What you will have is the motivation to make it work and with our help you should be in a position to have paid back your initial investment typically between 2 and 2.5 years. Sometimes much faster but this all depends on you.
